Spicing up the sidebar
Posted December 13th, 2008 by benYou may have noticed some extra goodies during the last few days, namely:
- The FlutherSearch Firefox plugin:
If you use Firefox, you should try it out–it’s specially made by our friends at WebMynd so when you search Google you also search Fluther. Plus, it can record your search history in a nifty way.
- An Amazon search box:
When you’re doing your shopping this holiday season, please buy some stuff from this box on Fluther. If you click on something and buy it, we’ll get a little referral bonus which helps pay the bills during these cold winter nights.
Please let us know what you think!

Amazon search… Soooooo good! I was trying to explain to my mom that she should try to order my Christmas gifts off Amazon through Fluther and I confused her so much she started yelling at me. You’ve saved my family by setting up the search bar. Thanks!
Firefox plugin… Hooray! I’m so downloading that.
Thanks guys =D

Cold winter nights? You guys are in CALIFORNIA! If you think that’s cold, try coming to CT.

If I click on something in the Amazon box and don’t buy that particular item but search for something else on the Amazon site and purchase it, do you get credit for that?

Can you just answer questions on this site not ask them?
