Have fun in France! Not that I believe that no fun is being had, but fun should be had.

cool video. course, johnpowell didn’t really leave…

has there ever been a “top questions” or “top asked phrases” category, or something to that effect? Perhaps it was suggested and vetoed, but perhaps that would also answer a lot of the “simple questions”, since the phrasing tends to repeat…

    p.s. ben’s camera wins.

  3. Ivan Says:

    Yeah, Andrew’s camera sucks.

btw, i should mention prior to any snark or pointings out of the obvious, i don’t mean the tag cloud on the front page.

  5. Andrew Says:

Yes, my camera doesn’t radically blow out the light in the room.

Thanks guys! (Ben appears more relaxed than Andrew. Did you drink too much coffee Andrew? ) ;)

The two of you look happy. I hope you are enjoying your time in France.

thanks for that, it was neat to see what you guys look like in real life. –there goes my whole they are a couple of computer bots theory–

  10. Dog Says:

But where does the ladder go to?

    Awesome update!
Gotta love the sounds of the fireworks and people screaming at the beginning. At first it sounded like you guys were in a Mafia movie- only wrong country.

Also - what is the view from your swanky yet humble digs?

  11. Susan Says:

So great to have this update! It sounds like it has been a worthwhile experience–even the loneliness of the first couple of days for Andrew. It also makes you realize how terrific it would be to speak another language–and once you can speak two, I think the rest can flow quite easily (maybe not).
    Thanks for sending this.
