New changes sprinkled about…

First, we’ve added sub-tabs when browsing all the topics, so you can see questions sorted by date, activity, and whether or not they’ve had any answers (poor little orphan questions).
We also have added the first steps in integrating your Facebook account with your Fluther account — you can now choose (per question) whether to post your question to your facebook friends as well — it’s already been quite useful for me (though I usually get better answers on Fluther).

Can we opt out of the Facebook stuff?
I don’t use it and it is slowing things down hitting up a external server.

So, how is “active” defined in this context? Someone is viewing it or composing contemporaneously?

The orphans feature should be interesting. How about a window of time, though, when a question is still fresh, before it is considered an orphan? I don’t think it makes sense for a new question to show up there right away. Maybe a 48-hour window? or a week?
Also, it would be fun to be able to see them listed oldest first just as an option.

Well, I’m sure the FB widget is very nice, but I’m keeping the peas separate from the mashed potatoes, though, you know what I mean?

I like the “post questions to FB” feature. However, it doesn’t work for me.. I’ve tried twice and the questions never appear on FB. Just FYI.

I saw the orphans feature a couple of days ago and LOVE the idea. I agree with @Jeruba on waiting a bit, though. I’m thinking maybe a thirty-six hour wait until it appears there? Just an idea.

Orphans is a weird name for that tab. Surely answers without questions would be orphans?

That means an unanswered question would be a childless parent?
