Well, today I learned that I’m finally featured in the Apple ad:
Now I’ll forever be “working out”.
And lest we think this is only about me, check out our very own richardhenry’s NSFW site, cursebird. A brilliant idea, if you ask me.

This will be really quick since I’m running on not-a-lot-of-sleep… I’ll be writing a full story on the epic server migration that was done last night.
I made some tweaks to the notify server yesterday, but she’s sending out _way_ too many emails. Sorry about that! I’ll try to get that fixed today.

We’ve been trying to keep it secret for quite a while now, but many of you have already figured it out:
Superstar Fluther member sferik (Erik Michaels-Ober) is now part of the Fluther Team! Andrew and I are thrilled to have him on board and we’re looking forward to sharing countless late nights, brainstorming sessions, and […]

First, I want to give thanks to the community. When Ben and I started talking about Fluther in 2006, we never imagined that we’d have such a vibrant community so quickly. So, thank you to our amazing, intelligent, curious, and open-minded users for making Fluther such a wonderful, entertaining place.

We’re still listed as the top webapp on Apple’s social networking site, and the flow of new users doesn’t seem to be slowing.
I’ve refined our question removal tools, added more warning text to the iPhone site, and will be updating our guidelines.
We’ll be adding search to the iPhone shortly.

As you can see, we’ve quintupled our activity in the span of a few days. As I’ve blogged about before, our signal-to-noise ratio has gone down a bit.
We’ve been removing the most inane and childish questions, but many of the “low quality” questions are simply new users who are just trying out the site with […]

I’ve added an icon for the new iPhone firmware update (thanks to Dan Dickinson), so add Fluther to your home screen:
Navigate to http://www.fluther.com on your iPhone
Tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen
Choose “Add to Home Screen”
Fluther with one finger!

In the midst of a busy August, Andrew and I have made it easier to _express_ *yourself* on Fluther. Here’s the whole story. We’re using the nifty conventions of Textile, because we’re huge fans of reusing good ideas (in some ways, that’s the essence of Fluther).
We’ve also had a chance to fix a […]

“Veni, vidi, vici.”- We dreamed it, we designed it, we built it.
Okay, maybe it’s not an exact translation, but you get the idea: We made an iPhone version of Fluther. So for all those hip iPhone users, go to iphone.fluther.com and start playing.
Yes, I had an awesome weekend at iPhoneDevCamp… meeting tons of talented people […]
