Ahhhh. Thanks ryan. It was a caching issue in a sub-template that I missed. I'll be fixing that now.

No WONDER I had so many people ask me to be in the beta!

Doesn't work for me in Chrome or Firefox (not that it should matter). That probably means I'm not in the beta and that I should shut up :)

I like it. I remember something like this was talked about a long time ago, and the majority opinion was against it. I was against it then too. No one wanted to see the community divided.

But, I love this. The default view still shows everything. Questions will get a longer life on the first page of the question tab, which means people will be more likely to get an answer. Which is excellent.

@ryan Those instructions don't work for me. I just got the buttons 3 times in a row by viewing my external profile and going back to the homepage (by clicking on the home button), but when I try it now it doesn't work anymore.

To me, the end user, it seems completely random but does come and go for small periods of time. Then again I might not be even part of the beta group to begin with, but only see it when the template screws up the is_part_of_beta flag check (or whatever you do to separate beta users from regular users). I can access the tab that only shows discussions by manually changing the link to www.fluther.com/browse/all/discussions/, which calls back the view directly. Like I said, it's probably a simple beta flagging error in the template or something.

Ps. Isn't beta kind of a big word for 2 buttons :p Where are all the bells and whistles!
