Fixing your lousy punctuation and capitalization

Members of Fluther’s grammar police will be happy to know that we’re making strides toward proper English.
Fluther now applies some fancy computer logic to improve question formatting:
- The first word will be capitalized
- ALL CAPS will be converted to sentence-case
- Repeated punctuation will be unified
- Questions that omit punctuation will have a question mark appended
You’ll be able to see these changes in the Live Preview before you submit your question, so there shouldn’t be any surprises.
Here at Fluther, we believe that proper punctuation and capitalization makes questions easier to read and is generally easier on your sensitive jellyfish eyes.
Oh no… My mom never typs caps anymore because she is used to MS Word converting them automatically 🙁
Ah well, at least it’ll make Fluther easier to read 😉
